WORK
creating architecture forms and spatial volumes that blur the bounderies between exterior, interior and landscape. Not only should the solid masses work in harmony, but also the void; the void that makes the Architecture alive.
Eman Hussein is an Egyptian architect and artist who leads a creative studio that works to blur the boundaries between art, architecture and design. She studied architecture at the Modern Science & Arts University in Cairo and was granted her Masters Degree at the University of Greenwich, London. In 2008, Eman had contributed in the Global Architect Symposium in London with a project that investigates how architects operate and interact differently across the world with the globalized nature of culture and design.
In 2010, Eman started working in Alchemy Design Studio. She started as a designer and was gradually promoted till she became the Head of Design Department and eventually one of the Art Directors. In 2015, she launched Eman Hussein Studio in Alchemy. The Studio approaches design and art as a tool to disentangle the established codes of today, focusing on the points of intersection between architecture, art and spatial analysis.
